Power Man Comes To Netflix September 30th

The already extensive Marvel extended universe gets even bigger with Power Man set to release on September 30th this year on Netflix! All of us, here, are extremely excited for this show, seeing as we all of the contributors at nerdy.mango are all young African-American men, it's always exciting to see a super hero that looks like us brought to the forefront (i.e. Static Shock). We are also very excited to see what kind of tone Marvel will give the show, because the tone and feel of the Netflix original series have been almost polar opposites of the Marvel cinematic productions. They have been darker, grittier, more realistic, where as the movies are more colorful, upbeat, and "quipful." Hopefully they keep the same tone and feel as in 'Jessica Jones' and 'Daredevil,' because I've really enjoyed the world they've created for these characters. It adds more of sense of realism and urgency.
